Woodburrow is the main hub world in the console versions of Skylanders: Swap Force. As its name indicates, it is a settlement built inside and outside a gigantic tree trunk.
History
Skylanders: Swap Force
Woodburrow is a village that is the home of Tessa, Rufus, the Chieftess, as well as other minor characters.
The enchanted pool in the center of Woodburrow used to be a popular swimming spot until the wizard Haldor dove underwater and claimed that he was transported to another world. Since then, the pool has been off-limits.
As the game progresses, the player can ascend to the highest point of Woodburrow by using the mushroom stairway on the left side of the Great Hollow and jump into the enchanted pool, where they will partake in a side-scrolling minigame that contains the Turkey Hat. In the Wii version, the player simply goes to the top of the tree and opens a box containing the Turkey Hat.
Between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., a Rainbow Bridge will appear in the Yard area of Woodburrow where it will allow the player to access Woodburrow's Story Scroll and daily Treasure Chest.
Skylanders: SuperChargers
In Skylanders: SuperChargers, Tessa evacuated the inhabitants of Woodburrow in order to get away from The Sky Eater. It is unknown if the village was damaged by a Rift or was still intact by then.

Trivia
- This is the first hub world that includes Soul Gems.
- This is also the only hub to have features activated only in certain periods of the day.
- Woodburrow is located directly alongside Mount Cloudbreak, which can be seen both in-game and in concept art.[1]
- In Tessa's tribe, hair length shows status.[2]
- According to Tessa in Trap Team, Woodburrow was originally ruled by a king at some point.[3]
- Concept art depicts an Evilized version of Woodburrow's four Elemental statues, suggesting that the statues may have originally have to been planned to change to reflect their owners' status.[4]
- In Swap Force's alpha, Woodburrow used musical remixes of the Skylanders: Main Theme by Hans Zimmer and "Exploring the Ruins" by Lorne Balfe.[5]
- Woodburrow's leaders (including the Chieftess and the Councillors) were originally known as the Senators, with the Chieftess being head of the Skylands Senate. Eruptor and Slam Bam served as placeholders for the Gillman and Yeti Councillors.[6]
- There's a signpost in Woodburrow that used to grant Skylanders daily stat bonuses. However, Activision has now shut down this feature and thus no longer gives the Skylander any daily bonuses.
- As a result, the achievement, Newsworthy, is now unobtainable as it requires the player to interact with it only once, making it impossible to earn all achievements or earn the Platinum Trophy for PlayStation consoles.
