So everyone is assuming that the trappable villain in Trap Team, Krankcase, is Spy Rise's father or in some way related to him. And while that is an interesting idea, I personally think otherwise.
Keep in mind each Skylander pretty much has they're own species (unless Eruptor and Hot Dog count as the same species), so just because Krankcase may be the same species as Spy Rise, we can't jump to conclusions about him being a relative of his. But that doesn't mean he can't be affiliated with Spy Rise in some way. Take a look at what it says in Spy Rise's bio:
But after being hired by a shadowy figure to gather information on the Cloudbreak Islands, his father vanished, leaving Spy Rise alone to search for answers.
Since Krankcase is a villain, maybe it'd make more sense if he was this "shadowy figure" they talked about that also made his dad vanish. Because his bio also states that spying is part of the family business, so I think if Krankcase was Spy Rise's dad, he wouldn't be a trappable villain but instead an NPC ally.
