Light core chill

"Stay Cool!"

For my first review, I have decided to focus on the new Water Skylander, as well as one of my new favorites. It's Chill!

Backstory[]

Chill was once a high-ranked guard of the Empire of Ice (or at least some kind of snow kingdom), until she failed to protect her queen from a hoarde of Ice Ogres. She left the kingdom looking for the queen, and eventually became a member of the Skylanders.

While not one of the most original backstories, Chill's story is pretty good.

Sets[]

Attacks[]

Aside from further developing her attacks, Chill has a basic upgrade that gives her increased armor and a new in game appearance.

Primary Attack: Ice Javelin[]

The Ice Javelin attack has decent range, but it doesn't deal that much damage without some upgrades. If you don't chose to further develop it, it may not be her best attack.

Secondary Attack: Ice Wall[]

Again, Ice Wall isn't too affective unless you upgrade it a bit. But it's not until you get her third attack when you can REALLY do some damage with it! Plus, it can also be used to block enemy attacks if used right.

Third Attack: Glacial Bash/Cold Front[]

When you press Attack 3 near an Ice Wall, you can send the pillars of you're Ice Wall and send them all over the place, perfect for causing craziness! With another upgrade, you can hold Attack 3 to bring up her shield.

Upgrade Paths[]

  • Ice Lancer (Further develop Chill's Ice Javelin attacks.) (Recommended!)
  • Frozen Fury (Further develop Ice Wall and Glacial Bash abilities)

Conclusion[]

Chill is great for defensive players. While she may not be the best power-wise, she is one to use a strategy with. Chill is personaly my favorite Water Skylander, and can really give Slam Bam a run for his money.
