Creation of the Universe
Although Brain is the only known ancient, I have come to conclusion that Shroomboom and Rocky Roll were the ones who created the universe in the first place. This is shown by how Skylanders keeps using them when they know that the fandom doesn't really like them. Why would Rocky Roll have an Awakened form? He's more than he seems.
For this timeline, I shall be calling them Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness. This is because the Brain is shown to like using big words, so if he created Shroomboom and Rocky Roll, it's only fair for them to have a giant title.
Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness created the whole universe when they were bored one day. We know this because it'd get pretty boring in pitch blackness.
As they needed someone to inhabit the universe, they first decided to create Jet-Vac, and that's why Light Jet-Vac exists.
The Spyro Games
As said in Spyro's backstory, Eon heard about Spyro's adventures and decided that he wanted to recruit him. But that's what Activision wants you to believe, when in fact, Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness rule over the Spyro Universe too. As the Spyro Spyro and the Skylanders Spyro aren't the same, Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness decided to take Dark Spyro with them and turn him good.
Skylanders Academy is the first thing that takes place in the canonicity of Skylanders. Although it's been implied that it's not canon, that's not entirely true. In fact, Skylanders: Trap Team, the best game in the series, is actually not canon. The reason why is that the Doom Raiders are nothing like how they are in Academy, and Academy also explains a lot about Team Spyro, who we see appear in Skylanders Imaginators with the addition of Gill Grunt.
Another interesting thing to bring up is that this means that Dr. Krankcase was never really a Doom Raider, but rather a normal villain, same with the Gulper, Luminous and Nightshade. They were all just regular villains, and Dr. Krankcase turned good in Imaginators.
The Books and the Comics
The books and the comics are all also canon. There's not much else to say except that some comics take place during the games and some before. I, personally, have never read any comics, so I wouldn't know. But what I do know is that the Mask of Power series all takes place right after Academy.
So why is SuperChargers here? One of the latest games, so why is it here? Well, there's a comics that depicts Kaos escaping from a trap, which leads into SuperChargers. But I know what you're thinking: if Trap team isn't canon, then how is trapped? You're acting like it's impossible for Kaos to have gotten trapped before.
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
As for Spyro's Adventure, there's not much to say. It's all canon.. However, Spyro's Adventure takes place many years after the books and comics, as everyone is surprised to see the Skylanders again.
There's not much to say about this either except for the fact that Light and Dark Giants do exist. They are actually Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness. This is true because the Giants are also described as ancients, just like Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness.
As for which elements, I think Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness probably belongs to Light, seeing as he has brighter colours and got a LightCore, while Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness is of the Dark element.
Skylanders: SWAP Force
SWAP Force is pretty straight forward, so no need to dwell on it.
Finally, Imaginators. The final game in the series for now. If another game comes up and Kaos is free, then we're going to have to consider Imaginators not canon either. But for now, let it remain in the canon timeline.
This is also the first time since Academy we get to see Team Spyro all together again. It's a nice little reunion. It's like Imaginators raps up the whole Skylanders story beautifully.
So, when WILL Skylanders end? Well, who's to say that it hasn't?
Think about this: if the Darkness is gone, why are there still Dark Skylanders in every game? Yes, I'm suggesting that the Darkness is still out there.
My prediction for Skylanders 7? It's gonna be the final battle between Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness vs the Darkness. And you know what it'll be called? Skylanders: Jet Warriors.
Skylanders: Jet Warriors
But why? Why Jet Warriors? Well, I'm sure you remember what I said about Jet-Vac. He was the first Skylander ever, so why didn't he appear in Spyro's Adventure? Because he was busy keeping the Darkness at bay. In fact, I'm even going to go as far as to say Jet-Vac was the one who invented the Rift Engines from SuperChargers.
It is my prediction that SuperChargers was meant to be the final game, considering the fact you beat the Darkness once and for all. It's all finally over. Except the Darkness survived and now Jet-Vac, Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness have to give the Darkness one final beatdown.
So why does Imaginators exist? Why didn't SuperChargers end everything off? Well, it's obvious. Without Imaginators, there wouldn't have been any sign of the Darkness being around. But because the Dark Skylanders returned, it shows that the Darkness is still out there, and he gonna use the Dark Skylanders to his advantage.
Kind of ironic, isn't it? Ultimate Overlord Shroomboom of Supreme Awesomeness and Ultra Emperor Rocky Roll of Total Greatness were the ones that got Dark Spyro, and now...he'll be going against them.
What do you guys think? Would this be a fitting conclusion to Skylanders? Let me know below!
