“Explore the Tree of Life and locate Arbo's seeds.”
    —Chapter Subtitle

Treetop Terrace is the tenth chapter in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is known as the Tree of Life by Tree Folk such as Arbo, and is where the Skylander searches for the Life Seeds used to locate the Eternal Life Source.

Description

Treetop Terrace is set in a forest of enormous trees, with its platforms and walkways cut directly into the wood. The level's sky embodies an evening cast, tinted pink with some glimpses of blue sky overhead.

Story

Arriving at the Tree of Life, Arbo and the Skylander begin their search for the Life Seeds, which are necessary to locate the Eternal Life Source. However, the trees of the forest tell Arbo that the "pointy ears", the Drow, have taken the seeds for themselves. In order to reclaim the seeds, the Skylander battles through the forest, taking on an army of Drow, Corn Hornets, and Life Spell Punks. Eventually, the Skylander finally locates the Life Seeds and takes them back to the Ruins so they can grow.

Trivia

  • Camo hatched at the roots of the Tree of Life, and had some of the tree's life elemental energy transferred to him at birth.
  • Treetop Terrace is the only chapter in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure to feature a Soul Gem behind an Elemental Gate.
  • In the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, when exiting the Magic Elemental Gate with the Teleporter, the elemental zone doesn't change back to Air like the Wii version, meaning the game still believes the Skylander hasn't exited the Elemental Gate until they reach The Seed Tree, where it correctly changes to the Life element.
  • Several assets in Treetop Terrace were recreated for Leaflook Village in the Nintendo 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure.
