"Kaos's Mother often blamed Portal Masters for the problems in Skylands, though she wasn't happy when she discovered Kaos had Portal Master powers."
If she's a portal master herself, why would she blame them for all the problems in Skylands as well as dislike Kaos for having the powers of one?
