Sky Island is a location in Skylanders: Ring of Heroes. It is the base of operation of the Earth Portal Masters in the Shattered Islands, and a safe area where they and the Skylanders they summoned can rest and organize arena battles. It also contains the Dimensional Gate that leads to the Distorted Dimension, and a new section of Skylanders Academy.
While not battling, Skylanders can help run various facilities in the island, such as mines for gems and gold and training buildings for higher XP yield. The two main buildings other than the Academy are the Wishing Well, where Soul Stones and various items can be obtained for gems and Wish Stones, and a store to exchange currency for a variety of necessities.
