The Sages of Waking are a trio of Mabu who reside in the Realm of Dreams. They are capable of undoing the Dream Sheep's sleep curse that threatened all of Skylands to be placed under a neverending nightmare. This prompted the Dream Sheep himself to have his minions capture Sages of Waking and imprisoned them within custom Villain Bootcamps in the Nightmare Realm. With the help of the captured Nightmare Villains, the Skylanders were able to free all three Sages, allowing them to weaken the Dream Sheep's defenses and open the gateway to the Dream Sheep's Lair.
