New Year's Countdown is a New Year's counterpart of Countdown. He was available on January 2014 and 2015 in Skylanders: Lost Islands.

Trivia
- He is the first Lost Islands Exclusive Skylander to be released in 2014.
- Because the Wishin' Well first appeared on February 2013, New Year's Countdown is the first and only Lost Islands Exclusive Skylander to be released on January.
- In January 2015, the year on his hat was changed to 2015. No further changes have been made due to the lack of Lost Islands updates since May 2015.
