Junkyard Isles is the second level in Skylanders: Giants. In this chapter, the Skylanders collect items that Flynn's airship needs before they travel.
Description
Junkyard Isles is a string of grassy islands inhabited by Drow and Mabu. Several barricades, gates, and houses decorate the level. Most strikingly, Junkyard Isles has a vibrant orange, yellow, pink, and blue sky, and it harbors autumnal trees which shed bright red leaves along the islands' edges.

Trivia
- Although in this level Auric says he will sell the engine for one gold coin, when the player receives the engine from him, their Skylander will not lose any money.
- The Junkyard Isles didn't used to be islands but an ocean until Flynn came on one fateful visit, leading to his lifetime ban from the area.[1]
- In the early Alpha, the Skylanders were originally going to retrieve a refrigerator and blender instead of retrieving an engine and compass.
- If you speak to Flynn before getting the compass, he'll say "So the on-board nav system now says we're in some place called "Albuquerque." We're definitely gonna need that compass!" This is a reference to the classic Looney Tunes line, "I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque!"
- The Toy Fair demo level created to showcase Skylanders: Giants took place in a setting similar to Junkyard Isles.
- The Hephaestus's Chain area references Hephaestus, the Greek god of blacksmiths and craftsmen.
- In the alpha version of Giants, a few of Junkyard Isles's areas were named differently, probably changed in order to omit alcoholic connotations.[2]
- Soda Square was initially called "Brewer's Square."
- Bottle Top Inn was originally called "Bottleneck's Brewery."
- Bottleneck's Soda Shop was initially called "Keg Lifter's Pub."
- In the alpha, Auric replaced the fleeing Mabu in the second chain of islands, and therefore thanked the Skylanders for rescuing him.
