- “Make it through the Troll trenches to recover the Green Goo.”
- —Chapter Subtitle
Goo Factory is the thirteenth chapter in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is where the Skylanders go to retrieve the Green Primordial Goo that is needed to rebuild the Core of Light.
Description
Goo Factory is a wet, stormy battlefield littered with trenches, sandbags, bared wire, bombs, barricades, and turrets. This level takes place in the midst of a thunderstorm; rain pelts the environment and Skylanders leave tracks in the mud.
Story
The Skylander arrives and is greeted by Snuckles, who explains how the Mabu Defense Force have been able to move to a position just outside of the Goo Factory. The captain had taken a squad ahead hours ago while Snuckles stayed behind to guard the position, and Snuckles asks the Skylander to find the captain. After battling some Trolls within trenches, the Skylander finds the Mabu captain, Rizzo. Rizzo has located the entrance to the factory, but the turrets guarding the barrier have prevented any more progress. Fortunately, a scout has reported a stockpile of Mega Bombs in a nearby Troll ammo dump, which should be able to blast through the barrier.
Reaching the ammo dump, Nort, the scout, leads the Skylander to a secret entrance to the dump, where the Skylander is able to claim a Mega Bomb. The Skylander rolls the bomb back to the factory barrier and uses the bomb to easily destroy it. Rizzo points out the three refineries within the factory, and the Skylander has to raise the corresponding flag by them to signal their capture. The Skylander battles through the Troll army, raises the flags, and captures the factory. After collecting a vial of Primordial Green Goo, the Skylander, Rizzo, and Nort use a massive cannon to launch themselves back to the Ruins.

Trivia
- Different Skylanders leave various tracks in the mud:
- Four-legged Skylanders (Sunburn, Wrecking Ball, Spyro, Drobot, Sonic Boom, Warnado, Whirlwind, Bash, Camo, and Cynder) leave three-toed claw prints, with Wrecking Ball's tracks being notably smaller.
- Bipedal/humanoid Skylanders (Voodood, Flameslinger, Chop Chop, Eruptor, Stealth Elf, Trigger Happy, and Ignitor) leave round footprints. Trigger Happy and Ignitor create smaller footprints than the others.
- Bipedal Skylanders with claws (Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell, Boomer, Dino-Rang, Terrafin, Slam Bam, and Zook) leave paw-like tracks that combine elements of the claw-prints and the round footprints.
- Prism Break and Stump Smash leave unique, two-toed tracks.
- Levitating Skylanders (Double Trouble, Ghost Roaster, Lightning Rod, and Hex) leave no footprints.
- Zap leaves unique claw-prints with frog-like toes.
- Drill Sergeant leaves distinctive tread marks in the mud.
- In the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Spyro's Adventure, the area 'Goo Factory' has no elemental bonus. Additionally, the Trollverine enemy is absent, Rizzo is wearing the General's Hat instead of the Napoleon Hat, and the Legendary Treasure Troll Stein has a completely different design.
- When exiting the Fire Elemental Gate in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, the game will think the player is back in the area 'Sandbag Hill' and give you the respective Earth elemental bonus.
