The Fish Master's Crown is an artifact featured in Gill Grunt and the Curse of the Fish Master.
Abilities[]
Anyone who wears the Fish Master's Crown can hypnotize any creature who live under the sea and put them under their control. However it doesn't affect sea creatures who weren't born beneath the sea, such as water dragons like Zap. The Gem-Eels are also immune to the crown's power. Those who have enough willpower can overcome the curse of the Fish Master's Crown for a short while. The hypnotic effects of the Fish Master's Crown will instantly cease when the crown itself is destroyed.
Story[]
Captain Grimslobber obtained the Fish Master's Crown and used it to hypnotize the residents of the Kingdom of the Merpeople into mining for Gem-Eels, which were immune to the crown's hypnotic power. Gill Grunt and Wham-Shell fell under the Fish Master's curse but broke free due to their determination and willpower, and fought against Grimslobber. During the struggle, the crown fell off Grimslobber's head and he accidentally stepped on it, breaking it in two and freeing the mermaids and sea creatures from the spell.
After Grimslobber was defeated, Kaos arrived and collected the remains of the Fish Master's Crown, which was presumed to be the Water fragment to the Mask of Power. It was later revealed that the fragment was actually the rag that was used to wrap up the crown when Grimslobber had it in his possession, and Kaos wound up getting just a broken brown crown.
