Fire Dragon was a character for the unreleased Spyro's Kingdom.
Character Development[]
Fire Dragon was one of the prototype characters planned for Spyro's Kingdom. During development, his spot as playable character was given to Spyro due to the decision that it wouldn't be Spyro's Kingdom "without Spyro as a playable character."[1] Fire Dragon's model can still be found in the game files of Skylanders: Giants under the name "Red Spyro".[2]

Trivia[]
- The NPC character Flavius bears a resemblance towards the Fire Dragon.
- Although his figure has his wings and horns being the same color, in the model found in Giants, they are different colors.
- In Spyro's Kingdom, his artwork is the same as Spyro's, just differently colored.
- While loading in the other scrapped Skylander, Sniper, Fire Dragon shows up as the troll's Magic Moment placeholder character.
