Crunchers are vicious little cousins of Chompies in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. They are found at Crystal Eye Castle. If a Cruncher is not defeated before getting near any Skylanders, it will sink their teeth in and won't let go (jiggle the control stick as shown onscreen to shake them loose).
They return in the Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders: Swap Force. Two types appear, Crunchers that only bite and larger Crunchers that can jump over the water, damaging the Skylander with their teeth.

Trivia
- They are the second rarest type of Chompies, as they appear for few levels in the first game and afterwards only in spinoffs.
