- “ Welcome, race fans to Chompy Mountain! Now, I'd tell you these Chompies don't bite, but I'd be lying! So please keep all hands, paws and hooves inside your vehicle at all times and enjoy the show!!”
- —Pandergast
Chompy Mountain is the third chapter in Skylanders: Trap Team. This towering mountain is home to the Chompy Mage, whom the Skylanders seek to capture, and Buzz rallies the Mabu Defense Force living at the base of the mountain to aid the Skylanders in their quest.

Trivia[]
- Even if you are playing as Chompy, the Chompy Mage will decline the thought of not defeating you.
- It is the only chapter in Trap Team with two trappable villains of the same element.
- All of the Soul Gems in this level are for Trap Masters.
- Level concepts for this level show that Chompy Mage's lair would be open to the sky, and his hideout would be inside a tree.[1]
- Chompy Mountain starts off on a three-pronged skydocks area, which greatly resembles the start of Rumbletown. Incidentally, both Chompy Mountain and Rumbletown are the third levels in their respective games.
- Both levels also include an unusually difficult Skystones challenger.
- Chompy Mountain's Undead Gate is unique in that it comprises a tiny ledge on the side of the mountain, overlooking the rest of the level.
