Batterson is a Molekin baker who sells pies to the undead. You meet him in the Darklight Crypt. In the Wii version, once the chapter is complete Battersons Pies are distributed around Skylands. They can be eaten to restore health. They do not replace food but appear around the levels like extra food.
Batterson explains the basics between the real world and the ghost world to the Skylanders and sends them to Darklight Crypt to find out why the Ghosts have stopped coming to buy pies as he is in danger of losing his pie shop to the bank. After the Skylanders defeat Occulous, he decides to begin using the Undead as employees to sell pies throughout the Skylands.

- Despite the game saying pies become available on other levels, they only appear in the Wii version.
